Magnetoacoustic tomography with magnetic induction (MAT-MI) is a recently introduced noninvasive electrical conductivity imaging approach.In the present study
a new algorithm for the conductivity reconstruction has been proposed
and was evaluated by computer simulations in a 3-dimensional breast model.Compared with the existing methods
the new algorithm can reconstruct the internal conductivity distribution without singularity problem and significantly reduces the time for reconstruction computation.
