three conjugate point rules between two overlapped surfaces are discussed
based on a general least squares 3D surface matching model.We explain how these methods can be used for the co-registration of two real 3D point sets
and show co-registration results based on airborne laser scanner data.Concluding results of our experiment suggest that every proposed conjugate point rules has a good performance for transformation parameters estimation in 3D surface matching procedure.In many cases
the least normal distance can achieve best result in practical matching.
