Doppler Parameters Estimation for Airborne Radar Based on DDC Model

Abstract:Based on Doppler distributed clutter (DDC) model,this paper gives the performance analysis for Doppler parameter estimation of airborne radar.Furthermore,a fast nonlinear operator (NLOP) method is also proposed to estimate clutter Doppler parameters for DDC model with modestly small Doppler angular spread.The proposed method directly gives the closed-form expressions for estimating parameters,and it may remarkably reduce the calculation amount and satisfy the real application of airborne radar.
