the method of moments is used to compute sleeve monopole antennas.A new efficient and accurate modeling for moderately thick cylindrical wire antennas with a so-called 'equal length dividing method’ and a constant gap voltage source model is established to greatly improved the accuracy.By using the sinusoidal interpolate basis and Daubechies discrete wavelet transform
the computing time is considerably reduced.Finally
a practical sleeve antenna
with the VSWR less than 3.0 in 200~700MHz frequency band
is designed.The calculated results of these three antennas are all in good agreement with the experimental results.
