these were limited by its spatial resolution given by its physical antenna aperture size.A synthetic aperture technology employing interferometry principle with complex correlators has been considered as a new type of instrument to give improved spatial resolution.In this paper
the authors analyzed the properties of a 1-bit digital correlator.The signal to noise performance has also been given to the systems that use this technology.Preliminary tests of such a system shows that it is a considerable technology to improve the system characteristic using the traditional analog complex correlators.
